According to Nick Deligainnis, MD of Hays, digital
marketing will be a growth area for jobs. Integration of technology and
marketing will make mobile optimization a priority option for businesses. Moving
beyond simply having a responsive website or application for mobiles,
strategies will be devised to create more mobile optimized content and
incorporate social media marketing.
Mobile
optimization – Companies will indulge in mobile
optimization for websites and developers with Android and iOS will be in high
demand. The demand for specialists in the field of content, SEO, analytics and
social media will rise even further.
The use of
substantial data will move beyond the consumers on
the company employees as well and to acquire proper talent for work place,
recruiters will use the technology for data mining which will help them to get
new insight and patterns that would be useful for recruiting, engaging and all
round performance of the hired work force.
Recruiters and companies will experience a more focused
shortage of skills. These will be more industry specific, and not broad and
finding niche talent skills for particular industries will be difficult.
The focus for employers in 2015 will be to tackle the
issue of hiring decisions. 2014 saw many businesses getting into conscious or
unconscious bias in gender diversity due to failed strategizing.
IT and marketing started off as vastly different areas of
interest. But come 2015 and these two will merge. Organizational structure will
get transformed with digital marketing and experts will be tackling the issues
involved with it.
Outsourcing and hiring temporary staff will be trends in
2015, according to Hays. Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Managed
Service Provision (MSP) will be tools for large and semi large businesses.
They will be focusing on factors such as reducing risks in
business, cost effectiveness and building stronger talent grounds.
When it comes to digital marketing, things are always in
transition. The changes in digital marketing are going to speed up at a break
neck speed so the industry has to stay ahead in order to create a successful
digital campaign.
Content marketing is going to rise in popularity and the
marketers are going to get rid of old ways of using the already used solutions
and will depend on consumer experiences.
Big
data was the focal point in 2014 and in 2015, marketing efforts based on data
will be the centered focus. Digital Marketing analysis will be on the rise by almost
60% in 2015.
The marketers, both
B2B and B2C will be working on a ground level.
